I Love you Because… you loved me even before I was born

and you called me your little Apple

You worked hard on my room

And worked hard at my baby shower so mommy and I could have lots of fun!

You took me to the beach and dancing

You celebrated the holidays with me

You took good care of mommy and me for nine whole months

and woke up early to help bring me into this beautiful world!

And then I was born!  Hello world here I am!

You watched as I got cleaned up and helped cut my cord even though you hate blood.

You anxiously waited to hold me and then you finally got the chance and we took our first family photo.

You were such a proud daddy and thanked Dr. Lee for all her help to bring me into the world.

You took care of me when mommy couldn’t.  You even changed my first and your first poopy diaper -- with gloves on of course

You introduced me to the world … to our family … more family… and friends

You took me on my first walk around the hospital wing

You celebrated my birth with mommy with a steak dinner and sparkling cider

You rocked me to sleep

Then you took me home yay!

I love you because you take naps with me, feed me, burp me, hold me, and give me baths

and you love me even when I’m cranky pants

I love you because you love all of me … my feet, my hands, my nose, my eyes, my ears, my lips, etc …

I love spending time with you no matter what we do.  I love watching TV, bath time, and especially cuddle time.

You take me on walks and play, read, sing, and dance with me

You keep me warm, dress me nice, and you do my hair

You let me hang out with my cousins

You take me to parties and take me out to eat …

and take me to photoshoots

You let me play with the dogs and all my toys

You love me even when I drool or make silly faces

You comfort me, make me laugh and smile

We love you Daddy!  Happy Father’s Day 2009!

So Mommy and Daddy baptized me into the Catholic Family on Saturday, June 20th, 2009. My baptism was at St Linus Church in Norwalk.  Fr. Gomez (mommy’s grade school teacher at St. John the Baptist) baptized me.  Fr. Gomez married mommy & daddy 4 years ago and he baptized all my Anotado cousins. It was a very nice ceremony which he explained the meaning of all the symbolic things that are used during a baptism like the oils, water, white clothing, and candle. He was very funny!

The baptism went well except for one little hiccup. My bonnet was knotted and couldn’t be removed when it had to be so I was a little upset but daddy saved the day yay! That was pretty much it, oh and one more thing I almost forgot about, I tooted during the ceremony too HeeHee!  It made everyone laugh.  All of our close family and friends were there to help me celebrate. I felt very loved!  My Ninongs were Tito Perry and Tito Bo and my Ninangs were Tita Jing and Auntie Cynthia.  Tita Jing and Auntie Cynthia couldn’t make it so Tita Kay was their proxy.

After the baptism, we were all hungry so we all went to eat at Panda Inn in La Mirada. I didn’t eat any of the food but it looked very yummy. It was a banquet style Chinese lunch. Mommy’s friend Tricia made my beautiful and yummy red velvet cake and Auntie Rya made my cute and tasty sugar cookie favors. I was sooo pooped from all the festivities that I took a little nap during the reception.

When we got home mommy and daddy let me open all my presents.  I got lots of nice things for my baptism…clothes, books, toys, and money for my college fund!

Thank you everybody for celebrating my baptism with me! It meant a lot to me that you were all there. I love you all!!!

It’s been a very busy month! Mommy went back to work mid May so I’ve been hanging out at Nana & Papa’s house while mommy & daddy are hard at work.  Nana and Co Binh have been taking good care of me and I get to see cousins Katelyn and Natalie all the time since they’ve been staying at Nana’s house so we all have fun together and we have fun with the dogs too!

I roll a lot more now and I don’t cry anymore when I roll over.  Daddy needs to put up a new video of me rolling since I got the hang of it now

I love putting everything in my mouth and love playing with all my toys!  I still drool a lot since I am teething. My two bottom teeth fully came out so I smile a lot now and show my 2 pearly whites.

I’ve been a social butterfly lately and have been going to plenty of birthday parties.

Mommy and Daddy took me to Laguna Beach for the first time during Memorial Day weekend and it was so pretty!  We ate at Greeter’s for lunch (that’s where Mommy & Daddy ate before daddy proposed to mommy).  Greeter’s had a really nice view of the beach and the food looked good.

I went to cousin Lucas’ choir performance.  He sang really well and I had lots of fun.

I can’t wait to eat rice cereal now since I’m 5 months old.  My baptism and father’s day is next week so I can’t wait for that either.  Until next time!

Mommy celebrated her first mommy’s day yesterday, yay!  A year ago, mommy found out that she was pregnant with me on mother’s day so mother’s day was very special with me out of her belly this year :p

The day before Mother’s day, we hung out with the Millers and the Yang girls at Mochilato in Irvine. I was watching everyone else eat the yummy desserts. I can’t wait until I can eat that mochi and gelato with saved ice. It looks SO good!

On Sunday, mommy woke up and found beautiful tulips and a nice card from daddy.  Then the three of us went to Ruby’s in Irvine for lunch and walked around Woodbridge North Lake. It was such a beautiful day outside! So nice that I was able to take a nap before heading out to Diamond Bar.

For dinner, we went to Lola and Lolo’s house to celebrate with the rest of the moms. Everyone had some yummy Lucille’s BBQ for dinner. I can’t wait to eat that too! I got to hang out with my cousins, Aunties, Uncles, grandparents, and greatgrandma.

It was a great day! Mommy’s sad that she has to go back to work tomorrow She keeps telling me that she’ll miss me but I’ll be at Nana’s house being watched by Nana and Co Binh so I’ll be good. Mommy is only going to work 4 days a week until September so we’ll still have some mommy and me time yay!

I’ve been a busy girl since Easter. I’ve been doing a lot more stuff and going to a lot more places since I’m getting bigger and the weather is warming up.

I’ve been going out with mommy and daddy and hanging out with my cousins. Here we are at Northwoods Inn. Can’t wait until I am big enough to eat there

Went to hang out with the Lopez and cousin Kaylee let me try out her saucer. She’s a good sharer.

Hanging out with the Miller cousins. They like to help feed me and give me a bath. I still love my baths!

I’ve been going to friends’ birthday parties. I went to my Godbrother Miguel’s 1st Birthday in April at the Brookside Equestrian Center in Walnut and met a bunch of mommy’s highschool friends. I met the Villaverts, the Trains and the Martinez’s. Happy 1st Birthday Miguel!

I also went to Ashley’s 5th and Chloe’s 1st Birthday party last week at Pump It Up in Anaheim Hills and met a bunch of daddy’s college friends. Happy Birthday Ashley and Chloe!

I had my 4 month appointment and I am growing so fast. I weigh 14.3 lbs and am 25 inches long. I’m starting to get rolls on my arms and thighs

I’m a drool monster now and I love eating my hands and also like to talk a lot more. I love playing on my playmat and my saucer. I’m rolling on my sides and have rolled onto my back a couple times. Oh and I just discoverd my feet a couple days ago.

One last thing, my two bottom teeth are coming in!!! I’m excited  that I get to eat rice cereal very soon. I think that’s all for now. Mommy’s day is on Sunday. I can’t wait to celebrate Mommy’s first Mother’s day with her. Until then!

Yesterday I celebrated my very first Easter!  A week before Easter, mommy and daddy took me to Babies r Us to take my 3 month/Easter photos. We went on a Saturday afternoon and I wasn’t too happy.  I cried the whole time so we had to come back the next day.  We went in the morning and I was a much happier then.  Check out my photos from the shoot:

Easter afternoon was spent at Nana’s house.  I had fun with the family and friends. I met some new people like Ba Noi (daddy’s grandma) and the Sheybanis. I also met Nana’s new puppy Missi.  Missi and I have the same birthday.

I watched as cousins Katelyn & Natalie and Shirzad and Shahdad hunted for eggs and played with the bubble maker that Uncle Andre and Auntie Kim brought over.

We had dinner at Lola’s house and I got to hang out with cousins Lucas, Jayden, and Kaylee.  We got there a little late and missed the Easter egg hunt but cousin Lucas cracked some confetti eggs on daddy.  We got to take some cousins pictures. That was fun even though cousin Kaylee pulled my ear at the end.

I was pooped by the time I got home but I had a fun filled first Easter! Hope everyone else did too!

The past month has been really busy.  Mommy and daddy haven’t had much time to update my blog so this will probably be a long post to get caught up.  I am 3 months today!!! Mommy is really sad that she has to go back to work in a month but she will only be working 4 days a week until September so we’ll still have some mommy and me time.  Nana and Co Binh will be watching me when mommy goes back to work.

Time to catch up on what I’ve been up to for the past 6 weeks.  I had my first photoshoot at the Verheems back in February.  Uncle Nicol has a cool new camera and a little studio so he took pictures of me for my birth announcements and I got to meet Aunt Dirkie, Isabel, & Johann. I was really sleepy and slept through practically the whole photoshoot but there were a couple shots of me awake.  It was fun!

We celebrated Lola’s 82nd Birthday on March 8th – Happy Birthday Lola!!!

Been busy taking walks,

hanging out with my cousins, I even stayed at lola and lolo’s while daddy was out of town working,

visiting mommy’s co-workers,

and meeting new friends like Jennifer Nelson (mommy & daddy’s hairstylist) and baby Zachary Nathan Ruiz.

Other than that I’ve been very busy growing.  Daddy weighed me last week and I weigh over 13 lbs!  I sleep 5-6 hours now at night which mommy and daddy are very happy about.  I enjoy my tummy time since I can hold my head up a little longer now.  I also coo and smile a lot and love eating my hands, blowing bubbles and I’m starting to laugh.   I totally look at you now and follow you around the room. Oh and my hair is growing out and sticks straight up.  Daddy likes is since it looks like a mohawk. I think that sums it up for now.  Have a Happy Easter Everyone until next time!

Ok.  I think the site is fixed now.  Some people told me they couldn’t reach the site but other people could.  I just thought it was a Chino thing or a Baraboo thing but too many people kept saying it.  So I looked it up and found out it’s a Windows Internet Explorer thing.  I couldn’t figure it out because it worked at home and anywhere we went.  That’s only because we are Apple Phans and we use Macs.  So people, switch to a Mac or at least use Firefox!
